EVENT DRIVEN EMAIL CAMPAIGNS
|
|
| Triggers With an event driven campaign you can anticipate to events and actions of your recipient. DMdelivery enables you to use triggers. You can set up these triggers all by yourself. A trigger can be a date (for example the birthday of a recipient), but also a certain action (an information request from your website, for example). You can choose between two kinds of triggers: time based triggers and event based triggers. |

Time based triggers A time based trigger is activated by reaching a certain time or date. You can define on what time or date a message (email or SMS) will be sent. This can be a fixed moment or a variable moment. For example: '1 day after an information request is made through the website, a reminder email will be sent'. |

Event based triggers With event based triggers, an email or text message is sent after the recipient performs a certain action. In DMdelivery, you can choose between a large number of actions that set off a trigger: for example clicking a hyperlink or reaching a certain amount of conversion. You can also combine triggers: you could send a follow-up email when the recipient clicked a link in the first email, visited your website, and subsequently clicked a certain link on your website. |
| Design your own campaigns By using combinations of time based and event based triggers you can deploy a fully event driven campaign. DMdelivery serves as your campaign management tool. This way, you can anticipate to your product lifecycle, send reminders, send follow-up offers, etcetera. The only limitation is your own creativity! Fully automated You can use triggers to automatically send emails or text messages, but also to update database fields, make a recipient a member of a group, or invoke a remote callback URL that communicates with an external web application. Design and deploy! |
